Menno-Kate, Menno-Simons-Gedächtnisstätte

Bad Oldesloe

Originally, the Menno-Kate was a printing house, in which Menno Simons's writings were printed. Menno Simons spent his last years of life - 1544 until his death 1561 - in the nearby village Wüstenfelde. The Kate and the lime trees planted by Menno Simons are a protected monument. Simons was one of the leading representatives of the Anabaptist movement and the names of the Mennonites.
