Holzknechtmuseum Ruhpolding

Ruhpolding

The museum was opened in 1988. It is dedicated to the life and work of the woodcutters (forest workers, foresters) in the former Traunstein salt flats. The open-air grounds show a variety of woodcutter's huts, productions about woodworking and interactive stations. Situated in the middle of the Chiemgau Alps, the museum grounds invite you to enjoy the atmospheric surroundings.
