Grube Samson - Bergwerksmuseum & Erlebniszentrum

Sankt Andreasberg

The "Grube Samson" is one of the most important monuments of the coal and steel industry in Europe. Here from 1521 to 1910 mainly silver ores were promoted. The Samson has long been one of the world's deepest miners and has the world's only "driving" still available. Since 2010, the Samson mine belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage site of mankind as part of the Upper Harz water system.
