Gerbermuseum zur Lohmühle


The Lohmühle in Leustetten, a half-timbered building from 1835, belonged to the since the 18th century in the village resident tannery Mantz. Lohe is defined as dried and shredded tannin-rich bark, e.g. oaks and spruces used for tanning. All equipment of the mill are powered by a water wheel with water power and offer the visitor an imposing impression.
