Archäologisches Freilichtmuseum Oerlinghausen

The Oerlinghausen Archaeological Open-Air Museum makes prehistory alive! From the summer camp of ice age reindeer hunters to the early medieval court system one gets in six large assemblies an impression of the prehistoric everyday life. In the experimental gardens the relationship of people to the environment of their time is experienced. In addition, in special enclosures, re-breeding of medieval pastures and goats are held.
